This mug, with a mermaid motif, is a long time favorite with my customers.  I make them in many sizes and shapes and mermaid images. This mermaid image is hand drawn in a simplistic style to stay true to the original  image. This image came from a 19th century sailor's knife handle.  Most of the images I use are taken from historical scrimshawed pieces, or old coastal maps. 

This is what I would call coffee size @ 12 oz.  I have two or three in this style, but all for the images are draw individually and vary to one degree or another. 

These mugs are high fired stoneware, which is very durable.   Dishwasher and obviously food safe.  Thank you for stopping to look.
