This very large mug came to the American colonies, in the early 18th century, via British imports. It holds 32 ounces and stands 6" tall by 5" at the base. The glaze is black and breaks brown along the lip and handle. The glaze will vary some what from firing to firing, just as it would have done in the 18th century potteries.
It's offered in one size and one color only. Thank you for stopping to look.
